This week special recognition goes out to the students in grades 4, 5 and 6.  Their History Fair Projects were outstanding. I am very impressed with their research and presentation.

New Items this Week!!

 

Chorister News: The Choristers sing tomorrow evening [Saturday] at St. Mary Church, Norwalk for the 6:00pm Mass.  Please meet at St. Mary’s at 5:30pm for warm-ups.  Dress is white tops and black bottoms.  See you at St. Mary’s on Saturday!

 

Spring Fling News: It is almost time to throw out the first pitch at this year's annual Spring Fling.  Join us for our own Flyer Field of Dreams Saturday, May 13th in the Convocation Center.  Be a part of our starting lineup.  NEW this year...Early bird ticket opportunities available.  Watch the upcoming Mustardseed for details.  Play ball!

 

3rd Quarter Grade cards went home today. Please check your address and add 2 stamps when returning your envelope. Thank you.

 

5th Grade Camp Parent Meeting: Monday, April 3rd at 6pm in the Gathering Space. Camp information, medical forms and packing list will be passed out.

 

Malley’s Chocolate Sale: Family members can still order items online until Monday, April 10th at https://malleys.com/fundraising/campaign/norwalk-catholic-elementary-school. All orders placed online are purchased with a credit card and are shipped via UPS directly to the person placing the order. School orders will be delivered on Monday, April 10th. All proceeds from this sale support field trips and general operating expenses for our students.

  • May 6 St. Anthony’s at 4pm
  • May 7 at St. Mary at 10:30am

 

From St. Paul Parish: We invite you and your family to join us throughout this Lenten season for Evening Prayer on Wednesdays at 7:00PM and Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 7:00PM.

 

PTO Upcoming Events: Flower Sale and Breakfast of Champions - We are looking for a couple of parents to help coordinate these events. Monica Howerton is coordinating the breakfast, but could use a least 2-3 parents willing to help and I could use some help organizing the flower sale.  If you are interested in helping with either of these events please contact me. Yearbook orders: The last day to turn in an order is April 28th. The cost is $20. Please note: All checks should be made payable to Lifetouch.

Meal Magic: Please take a few moments to review your student/students Meal Magic Lunch Account Balance.   Meal Magic Balance can be obtained by:

  • Asking the cafeteria cashier.
  • Go on-line at www.sendmoneytoschool.com.  You can follow the "Meal Magic Online Functionality" link on the NCS website to the Getting Started Instructions.
  • Contact the Business Office (419-668-3005 x 223) for balance information.

 

SHOP NEWS: If you are gearing up for golf season, we offer Eagle Creek cards for $25 with a 10% rebate! We also offer both Jake’s Radiator and Fisher Transmission and they both have 10% rebates. That can really add up! Through 3/31, Bass Pro, JC Penney, and Journeys all have 3% bonuses. Also, Shutterfly has a 2% bonus. There are only 4 more weekly Monday orders left for this Shop year since we will not have an order the week of Spring Break.
