With grateful hearts we gather to give Him thanks!

We invite you to begin your Thanksgiving Day with us at Mass at 9:00 AM at St. Paul

Happy Thanksgiving!

Advent begins December 2, 2018.  This advent season we are taking time to think about those who are less fortunate than us.  The ECC will be participating in two Advent projects.  One project is Toys for Tots. The Marines are collecting new UNWRAPPED toys to give kids in need a new toy at Christmas.  If you are able to, please send in a toy and place it in the box in the front lobby!  (We will be taking donations until December 6th.)  Our second project is collecting new children's winter hats and gloves.  These will be donated to the Norwalk Clothing Bank.  There will be a tree next to the Toys for Tots box that the children can put their gift of hats or gloves on.

The Spring Fling is looking for a parent volunteer or two for each grade (Pre-3 thru our Senior Class) to put together class project (by or before April 8th) that will be auctioned off at the spring fling on May 4, 2018.  We have a list of projects if you need an idea of a project!  If you have any interest please contact Jenny Springer 419-706-8228 (text/call) or jb332@yahoo.com for more information.

When school is closed:

When school is cancelled, the ECC will be closed for the day—both the SCHOOL and the FLYER CLUBHOUSE. On days when a delay is called initially and school is later cancelled, children dropped off at the Clubhouse at the start of the day will be sent home. Staff will call the child's emergency contacts in the order listed to pick up by 9:30am.

Recess and Clothing:

It is so good for kids to get outside for a break in their day with recess. If the temperature is at or above 32º and it is dry, we will take recess outside. Please remember to dress your child for the weather--jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, winter coats and/or boots so they are comfortable and stay healthy. Sweatshirts that are not in dress code must be taken off in class. Think layers. The classrooms are heated on two boiler systems, so there is some variability in room temperatures.

Our first PTO Dough Raising Night is scheduled for November 21, 2018 with Marco's Pizza!!!  Help our PTO raise some "Dough" and have a great, easy dinner the day before Turkey Day!  Call Marco's Pizza at 419/663-5555 and don't forget to mention NCS PTO for us to get credit for your order.

We are currently in need of a coordinator for the Teacher Cookie Trays this year.  If you are interested in coordinating this project, please contact Jennifer Ott @ 419/577-1295.

We are still in need of parents who would like to donate cookies for this year’s Teacher Cookie Trays.  We ask each family that volunteers, to donate 4 dozen cookies.  Please contact Jennifer Ott @ 419/577-1295 if you are able to donate cookies.

We are in need of the following items for this year's Secret Santa Shop:  tissue paper and white or brown paper lunch bags.  If you are able to donate either of these items, please sent them to the school office.  Thank you for your help!!!
